2. Google Calendar Integration & Data Usage

Loop provides an optional integration with the Google Calendar API to allow Reviewers and Schedulers to sync their availability slots and bookings. If you choose to enable this integration, please note:

  • Requested Scope: We request access to the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events scope. This is used solely to create, update, and delete events representing meeting bookings created through the portal.
  • Access and Storage: Our application accesses your calendar events strictly to place or manage portal-specific bookings. We store your OAuth tokens (access tokens and refresh tokens) securely in our encrypted database to maintain connection integrity.
  • Data Minimization: We do not read other calendar events that are unrelated to portal bookings. We do not index, search, or build profiles from your private calendar history.
  • No Sharing: We do not share, sell, transfer, or disclose any data retrieved from your Google Calendar with any third parties or external services under any circumstances.

3. Data We Collect

We collect information necessary to provide meeting scheduling and portal management:

  • Profile Information: Name, email address, role, password hash, and company details.
  • Booking Details: Meeting timings, topics, descriptions, and reviewer pricing.
  • OAuth Metadata: Google account email connected to the calendar integration.

4. Security & Encryption

We implement industry-standard administrative, physical, and electronic security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure. All stored access tokens, refresh tokens, and credentials are protected with database level access controls and secure network transfers.
